This is a 3 minute trailer by Classic Jazz Visions, Inc., a 501(c)(3) non profit corporation that promotes the legacy of jazz photographer Jack Bradley. Jack is perhaps best known as Louis Armstrong’s friend and photographer. His many photos of Armstrong are archived at the Louis Armstrong House Museum in Queens, NY. Jack Bradley’s collection contains over 25,000 images, of which only a fraction have been published. Classic Jazz Visions, through a series of concerts and recorded presentations, will bring these rare pictures to as wide and diverse an audience as possible. This trailer is an appeal for donors and sponsors to help fund our efforts to bring this project to life. In our 57 minute documentary “Classic Jazz Visions: The Photography of Jack Bradley” we combine Jack’s images with a narration, as well as a music by the Classic Jazz and Swing Orchestra to create a unique and entertaining look back in time at our jazz heritage. Your help will be greatly appreciated.
