These incredible photographs tell an amazing story.
Jack Bradley took over 30,000 photographs over the course of his career, most of them in NYC, New Orleans, and the Newport Jazz Festival from the late 1950’s through the 1970’s. Some of them have been featured in films, books, jazz magazines and album covers over the years. I have spent the last eight years organizing and archiving his images. 2500 of the negatives have been digitally scanned; out of that number I selected 500 to be used in the film. Most of these pictures are being seen here for the very first time; the historic, cultural, and educational value of this presentation makes it a truly unique multi-media experience.
